Founded in June 1945 by Mr. H.G. Parkinson, Airedale Springs is a professionally run family business manufacturing an extensive range of bespoke springs and wire forms in wire diameters ranging from 0.15mm to 10mm.
 
We manufacture all types of springs consisting of compression, extension, torsion, clock/shutter, prison, hose and garter springs; circlips/rings and light pressings or potentially any product manufactured from wire or strip.
 
With over 75 years of spring manufacturing experience combined with a 18,000 sq/ft purpose built facility equipped with the very latest CNC spring coiling and wire forming technology, we are able to supply a high quality products, skilfully manufactured for a diverse customer base.
 
We can supply quantities ranging from one off to millions, working to all levels of precision and to a variety of delivery scheduling systems providing the highest levels of customer service.
 
We work in partnership with our clients. Our technical team are always keen to help and to be involved at the earliest opportunity to give practical, cost effective and innovative solutions to spring design problems.
 
Environmental issues and low carbon production are more important than ever and we aim to manufacture our products with the lowest carbon footprint as possible. Our premises, completed in 2012, have been built to the highest environmental standards achieving an “A” rating for energy efficiency. In addition, it is fitted with 132 solar panels, generating on average 20% of our energy requirements further reducing our environmental impact.
 
We have been continuously approved to the ISO9001 standard in its various forms for over 30 years and were the first spring manufacturer to be nationally approved to BS5750 when initially registered in 1985. We are currently approved to ISO9001:2015.
